Country Championships 2022

A Regional Victorian junior soccer tournament held annually on Queen’s Birthday long weekend. In 2022 the event was hosted in Geelong and was attended by over 1000 players and 3000 guests from all over regional Victoria.
Games were played at host clubs Geelong Soccer Club and Geelong Rangers Soccer Club on Saturday and Sunday with finals on Monday. Three Geelong teams enjoyed wins – u14 girls, u18 girls and u13 boys 🏆
There were A LOT of moving parts to manage across two very different sites – fencing, toilets, marquees, signage, lighting, car parking, volunteers, etc. The organising committee also put in countless hours of volunteer time to admin the soccer part plus stakeholder engagement and management and coordinating over the weekend itself.
